The SMD2440JS is packed with thoughtful features like the Steamer Bag preset that easily steams a bag of frozen veggies up to 17oz. The Keep Warm feature can hold warm dishes for up to 30 minutes and the Rolls/Muffins feature warms rolls, muffins, or bagels from room temperature, refrigerated or frozen.

The Easy Touch Automatic Drawer system eases open with the touch of a button. Simply give the Microwave Drawer Oven a small nudge and it smoothly shuts for you. The even, gliding action and solid construction prevents liquids from spilling during opening and closing.

Easily lift hot foods from the drawer or stir dishes without removing them. The SMD2440JS can be wiped with a damp cloth inside and out for a quick and easy cleanup.

A touch-control microwave oven placed at counter height provides cooking access for people of various ages and physical abilities.

To be part of an ADA compliant kitchen, a microwave oven must meet the following requirements:

Maximum high forward reach for controls and operating mechanisms is 48"; maximum low forward reach is 20".

Controls and operating mechanisms must be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist. The force required to activate controls shall be no more than 5 lbs.
